Pre-owned Rolex Datejust ref 279174 (2021) is a contemporary edition of the iconic Lady-Datejust. Features include the modern 28mm Oyster case (up 2mm from older-style cases), a silky 3-link Oyster bracelet, and a slate Roman numeral dial. Looking closely at the bottom of the watch face, the "SWISS MADE" distinction is flanked by tiny Rolex coronets. This newer feature instantly makes this woman's Rolex recognizable as a current-production watch. Ref. 279174 is a White Rolesor model, pairing Oystersteel with lustrous 18k white gold. My wife and I have worn Rolex Datejust watches for close to 40 years. This one we purchased earlier this week will replace the 2005 model that we will pass onto our daughter in recognition of earning her PHD. Rolex is one of those products that will never be questioned when owned...timeless, beautiful, reliable, and understated. Like all mechanical devices they need maintenance, eventually and that is OK!
