The case sports a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, a black ceramic dial topped with Super-LumiNova, a matching black ceramic uni-directional time-lapse bezel, and a Helium Escape Valve. It can withstand up to 600 meters/2,000 feet below the ocean's surface. Even more impressive is the movement, Omega's caliber 8900 self-winding movement, which boasts the distinction of a Master Chronometer, a Co-Axial escapement, and a 60-hour power reserve.
