Introduced in the 1950's to replace Rolex reference 6511, the Day-Date reference 6611 brought with it a more efficiently working day display and COSC certified self-winding movement. Rolex collectors in the know will appreciate the bubble-style case and fluted bezel that is distinct to older Day-Date dress watches. Another highly attractive feature is the beautifully pie pan dial set with tapered hands and sophisticated applied gold hour markers.
