Description: Rolex President Day-Date 118348
Pre-owned Rolex Day-Date ref 118348 (2008) is the classic 36mm yellow gold President, but with a factory diamond bezel and a remarkable dial motif. The bezel is decorated with 52 brilliant-cut diamonds, hand-set with utter perfection into lustrous yellow gold. It's a feature we expect to see on an ultra-exclusive and incredibly lavish solid gold Rolex watch. However, the dial is a slightly different story. It has the classic champagne hue Rolex usually pairs with fine dress watches but with a contemporary wave pattern and striking yellow gold Arabic numeral hour markers. It's a bit unexpected, but that is exactly what makes this edition of the Rolex Presidential so collection-worthy. Ref. 118348 has since been discontinued, taking with it the beloved caliber 3155 - the first movement in Rolex history to boast a Quickset for both the day and date.
