This GMT is in overall great, attractive condition. The case is strong with normal signs of wear. The case back has a personal engraving (not very deep); it reads "SGM H.M. INGLE/ 3 MSF 1969." The beautiful fat font fuchsia bezel shows some wear and has developed a lovely fade throughout; the back is fuchsia colored. The bezel is tight when rotating. The dial is in good condition and has developed some patina and has some dark spots/ marks that can be hard to notice. The lume has developed patina and aged to a pleasing pale yellow color. Some of the plots (10,11,12, 1, 2, 8 o'clock) show signs of lume wear/ the GMT hand potentially rubbed over them at some point. The hands have developed patina and the lume in the hands has been relumed/ color corrected and they are close in color to the lume on the dial. The bracelet is in great condition with some wear and a bit of stretch between the links.
The GMT Master is Rolex’s signature pilot’s watch, complete with dual-time capabilities. It came to market in 1955, with ref. 1675 following shortly after in 1959. It’s one of the most sought-after vintage Rolex watches on the secondary market because it’s instantly recognizable with its 24-hour bezel and dedicated GMT hand. The Rolex 1675 was also notably the first GMT Master to use crown guards. Rolex initially used glossy dials in the 1675 until around 1966 and switched to matte dials.
This circa 1968 example is in overall beautiful, honest condition with it's beautifully aged faded fuchsia bezel. Collectors refer to this dial variation as a Mark I "Long E." When looking at the "Rolex" text on the dial the "E" has a longer central bar (same length as the top and bottom ones) and that is where this nickname comes from. This watch has retained its correct date-wheel for the time period with the closed 6's and 9s as well as hooked 7s.
These fuchsia GMT's are highly sought after by collectors because of their unique athestic compared to the "Pepsi" GMT's. This example has a lovely fat font bezel that has faded beautifully adding to the overall vintage charm.

Great watch and very good help from Sam Berger who catered to my concerns.

Well represented watch in excellent condition. Super fast shipping. My second purchase from Bobs but not my last. Their watches seem to be in better condition than many of the others I’ve seen online.
The whole transaction process with Bob's is always top notch. The vintage watch was functioning as expected, the case is relatively strong with minimal polishing, and the dial is a beautiful service dial as expected.
I really like this beautiful 1675 with fuchsia bezel.
Quick e-mail responses, systematic
I have worn this watch everyday for 47 years, had it cleaned every 8 or so years, had the bezel replaced with the new one back in the 80s. Paid $400 in Switzerland in 1970. This is the greatest lifetime deal ever!!
